That said, you can’t repair weapons on your own. You just don’t have the proper know-how for it, so you have to leave it to Technicians. They are expert craftsmen and will make sure to leave your weapons in tip-top condition… provided you’ve got the Coupons to pay for it.
In this short guide, we’ll give you a step-by-step process on how to repair weapons in Stalker 2.
How To Repair Weapons | Stalker 2: Heart Of Chornobyl

You can only repair weapons and other gear in Stalker 2: Heart Of Chornobyl by talking to Technicians, as we mentioned before. Technicians usually reside in the various settlements across the game’s world, though not every single settlement has a Technician.

The first such Technician you’ll meet is Lens at Zalissya Bar. If you’re still early in the game, you’ll want to go to him for all of your equipment repair needs! We’ve marked his location on the map above for you.

While talking with a Technician, go to the Upgrades tab and then select the weapon you want to repair. Then, look at the bottom right corner of the screen. You’ll see the prompt to repair your equipment as well as its cost.
Thankfully, repairs only cost Coupons and don’t require any other resources. The downside is that the Coupon cost can get pretty high, so it’s a good idea to be selective with what you repair… don’t spend your Coupons repairing stuff you won’t use anyway.
Nonetheless, that’s all you need to know to be able to repair your weapons and other gear in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Just visit the nearest friendly Technician and let them work their magic.
What’s more, it’s worth noting that Technicians aren’t just good for repairs. They can also upgrade your gear, such as by adding scope mounts to your guns!
