Best Equipment and Clothes to Get Before the “Wedding Crashers” Mission
At this point in the game, you are going to be pretty poor and likely a bit lost, but there are a bunch of side quests that open up to you almost immediately. For example, Bara will call out to you and point you towards the Combat Training I quest as well as help you figure out where to get gear.
Take this time to get your skills up, earn some money, and find better gear by exploring the region and completing all kinds of side content while avoiding the wedding event.
Some stuff you can aim for are a set of armor specifically for combat, an outfit that buffs your charisma, and maybe even some stuff that can help you lower your conspicuousness, noise, and visibility (basically a stealth set).
Here are some items to keep an eye out for in terms of combat gear:
- Italian bascinet (head)
- Mail hood with a coat of arms (head)
- Mail collar (head)
- Hauberk long (body)
- Milanese brigandine (body)
- Pourpoint long (body)
- Hourglass gauntlets (arms)
- Silesian brigandine sleeves (arms)
- Noble brigandine legs
- Padded chausses (legs)
- Knight’s spurs (legs)
- High boots (legs)

As for your charisma gear, look for a tailor to buy stuff from. Tailor Bartoshek, who is found in Troskowitz, should have a bunch of items that will help with that, including at least one of the items in the list above.
If you need to steal stuff or do anything that requires stealth, just look for stuff that keeps your conspicuousness, noise, and visibility as low as possible. Take off your armor pieces and flashy accessories if you have any.
And that is all you need to keep in mind while you are exploring the region prior to doing the Wedding Crashers quest. Just keep an eye out for these armor pieces and any tailors that might have some charisma boosting gear and you should be set for a while.
